For roughly 4 years, I ran a Hygain TH3 MK4 which according to Barb who used to work at HyGain, had gone through several design improvements since the 60s when the TA33 and TH3 came out. Almost 2 years ago I replaced it with a force 12 C4EXL. It is basically like a C3E with the EF-240 40 meter beam on the end. It has 2 transmission lines (40 and 20-10). It is 10 or 11 elements on a 30 foot boom. Both my TH3 and the F-12 were/are mounted on Glen Martin roof towers. For whatever its worth, I also had a TH3 Jr on my dad's roof during the 60s.

I lack scientific instruments to compare the antennas but perceived performance is like night and day. I have no problem breaking most pileups running 100 watts and the F-12. I never worked let alone heard India using either trapped tribander. I have worked India several times on 20 using the F-12. I've been an active ham since 1964. Somehow, you can just tell the performance difference is significant.

As to physical strength, ease of assembly, etc, I echo everyone else's comments about the rivets, F-12 documentation, technical support, etc.
