We have a c-3 that we put up at our club station. It is a great antenna.
ESPECIALLY if you consider the size. (I have used much larger antennas that
did not work any better). Assembly was a snap using the pop rivets (pun
intended).
Side rejection is great. Back rejection is good. I don't have anything to
compare it to for fwd gain.....
Ours rotated on the mount in the first BIG wind and I had to go up and put
it back horizontal then put a sheet metal screw through the boom to prevent
that happening again. (

wind at our contest site is extreme as we are on a 135 ft tower -- on a 1500
ft hill -- in the Ozark Mountains -- Just off of scenic state Hwy 7 in
Northern Arkansas.
In the recent 10 meter contest we ran JA's until we got bored and deserted
the freq. to go S & P for rarer countries.......
Overall, I like the C-3.
