[Antennas] Stacking or Phased array 2m

I am not trying to work anyone or anything specific. 
The article is written well enough that I understand
the construction and I am going to build one to have a
somewhat directional antenna.  I have a good
omni-directional that I use as my main antenna.  I am
going to build this so that if I hear some one in the
static, I can point the antenna in their direction and
maybe pick them up.  I could put up a yaggi, but this
antenna seemed interesting and somewhat different.
