I am planning two 40m antennas for my station.  The one antenna is a delta
loop erected vertically and the other is a full-size 1/4-wave vertical.

The 1/4-wave vertical will be mounted at roof height and will have to serve
as the mast for the delta loop.  My idea is to fix a pulley at the top of
the vertical and hoist the delta loop with polypropelene rope.

Do I ground the feedpoint of the unused antenna when the delta loop or
vertical antenna is being used?

The delta loop, when operating, should not be influenced by the grounded
vertical.

Will the vertical, when operating, be influenced by the grounded delta loop?
