[Antennas] Balun for 80m dipole?

Further to my post regarding the options and choice of center connectors for
an 80m dipole, I am now curious about your thoughts on using a balun.  In
reading the ON4UN Low Band book he is very clear about the importance of a
current balun on a mono-band dipole. I'd be curious what your thoughts are
on the use of baluns for this type of antenna.

Just to keep this question and its responses on topic, I am not concerned
about multiband use of these new 80m dipoles. They are 90 degrees to one
another, they are center fed with (probably RG8x coax) and both are well
over 100 feet in elevation. Again --- I'd be curious what your thoughts are
on the use of baluns for this type of antenna.
