Didn't realize that there were than many Ladder-Loc fans out there. I have two
problems with the Ladder-Loc, one is that it cost $12.99 plus shipping from
AES catalog and the other is that it wasn't made for 300 ohm twinlead. I just
have had good success with my homebrew dogbone insulator, couple feet of tape
and nylon tie-wrap, a lot cheaper than $12.99 plus. It survived major ice storm,
about 1" of ice on 80 meter length antenna. Thanks for response.
