What I did was to "dip" some coax for a half wave at the desired operating
freq. Once I did that, I made the necessary connections at the centre and
added wire for the rest. That way you would not be guessing. I have found
that most cables that come from the Far East are not made to specs. I have
found RG58U varying between .67 and .85% in vf! There are all coax versions
of the Bazooka too.
Easiest would be to check the VF of the coax (any length) you have and then
doing the calculations.
