Well, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but its not quite that
simple.  There are many methods used to tune different types of
antennas, some do use capacitors, others use inductors, some use both,
and you can also change the length, change the physical arrangement, or
just cop out and buy an 'antenna tuner' box if your radio doesn't have
one built in.  to be any more specific you will have to give lots more
details.  For further study you might want to look up something like the
arrl handbook or antenna book or some other text on antenna and rf
design.
