Tom, you might do better to leave the end open, bi-square style, place a 1 foot insulator in there, then feed the whole thing at the opposite end with 450 ohm open wire line... to a 4:1 balun and tuner...will tune anything then...you get the benefits of a loop, increased gain, low noise, but not the high-complex impedance that is difficult to match if the loop is closed...the line will be very low loss too...good luck..
