Thanks to all for the advice on the dummy load light bulb. After reading all 
the info you all sent me, I'm going to buy a tuner with a dummy load 
built-in. I just bought a used tuner without the dummy load and I'm sorry I 
did. The other thing is this tuner [mfj-941d] has seen better days, all the 
so-259 were litterly coming off the back and I had to re-rivet them back on. 
The other is its not giving me a proper reading of power out and swr etc. So 
I shouldn't cut corners and buy a used tuner, instead I'll buy a new one and 
that way i'll now that all the dials and meters are aligned properly. To me 
its the most important thing in the shack especially when the radio doesn't 
have a built-in one [tuner that is] and I'm using a homemade dipole. Hope to 
hear everyone on the air soon.
