Hi All,
Very good replies on using Light Bulbs as a Dummy Load! The
subject was covered quite well. However, I use several 300 watt light
bulbs as a "Dummy Load" when mobiles visit me. "It" keeps them from
blowing out the front end of my TS 870 and Vice Versa. I have a range of
about 2 miles using my alternate Light Bulb Dummy Load as an Antenna-hi
hi. When a mobile get "close", I just switch to my special antenna so no
problem for either of "us". I normally run a KW so have to be careful.
