[Antennas] Question

My suggestion and what I use is pushup poles. They are often used for TV antennas.
I have a 50' heavy duty, and the remains of a 40', actually 25'. They must be
guyed but that can be done with galvanized wire or medium size dacron. 50'er
has been up about 4 years. One pole can be used as the center post for an inverted
vee, as big as you have room, with maybe a 4x4" post on each end so people won't
be able to reach the antenna. I use a 90 degree shelf bracket at the top attached
with stainless hose clamps, that gets the antenna a little away from the metal.
There is a pulley attached to the bracket to raise the lower the antenna. The
300 ohm balanced feedline runs away from the pole and down to the house. Hope
this is of interest.
