[Antennas] Coax Trap: to be or not to be ... this is the question

Hi,

Recently I started to experiment with Coax Traps in a Invee for 30, 40 and
80m. It seems that it works fine however I have received contradictory
about the performance of COAX TRAPS versus normal TRAPS, lossy versus Q, etc...

Anyone could help me to understand the difference and if really the Coax
Traps are or not suitable for antennas? do they lose power???

I'm using coax traps made with RG174.

Thanks

Juan, EA5XQ
