A Quagi had loops for both the DE and the RE.  They
were first described by Wayne Overbeck, (then K6YNB if
I remember right).

I built several in the 70's if memory serves.  They
were OK I guess.  I worked Wayne over several 400+
mile tropo paths between Tucson and the wilds of Utah
while he was using them.

They are dated design-wise as compared to modern CAD
Yagis.
