[Antennas] Verticals And Trees

I had a Butternut HF-6V, not mounted on the ground, but up about 10',
with three radials.  Very close to some maple trees.  No problem, until a
winter storm bent the top so much it got caught in the tree limbs. 
Following storms weakened the bottom section (above the feed point)and
the damn thing broke.  I removed the maple (it was dying anyway) and
replaced the antenna with a HF-9V.  Still have a red maple very near, but
far enough away to be safe.
