Larry,
Most of the issues with coax relate to water getting
into it and causing losses and other problems. After
having coax up for a few years if you look at it you
will often see a white powder around the braid,
indicating that water has gotten into the line. Water
is an insidious beast that eventually gets in to
exposed coax. I recommend using LMR400, espscially if
you are planning to bury the coax.
