That is the only thing that I could think of that would allow it to work,
Chris. That antenna was in QST sometime back. It is an all-coax version of
what was one known as a "coax vertical" back when the lower section was
made of aluminum tubing placed over the coax and a rod or tubing was the
other half of the dipole.
