Howdy... I'm not sure if I have the same model, but I'm running a 6m square loop
that a local ham builds and sells here in the SW MO area... (Hi Big Larry, if you're
here, grin) Oh, mine is mobile, on the roof of my Jeep Cherokee. Four magnets
holds it down to over 80mph. :-) It works okay, it just has a pretty narrow curve
for low SWR, it's centered at 50.125, it's good from 50.000 to about 50.250 before
SWR starts really climbing.
The big thing is that line-noise interference is much less, since it's a horizontal
antenna. But I've only had it for a couple of months, and I really haven't made
more than a couple of contacts with it (and my Kenwood TS-60) yet.
