I don't know the loss of the new coax but it's probably
1/2 the loss of rg58.  There is maybe 1.4 db loss in
rg58 at 14 mhz of 100'. Unfortunately you didn't say
you took a band spread measurment on the rg58.  If it
was quite broad that would show a higher SWR at the
antenna than what you read at the feedpoint.  The
higher SWR would cause much higher loss which would
show a flatter SWR curve.
  Assume that the new coax SWR curve is correct.  Rg58
is very lossy and will skew measurements especially
with such a long feed length.
