Good day: I am reading this thread with interest. Dacron is the Dupont trade name for polyester. If it says Dacron, it's made by Dupont. Otherwise, not. Polyester is used for many things these days besides cheesy leisure suits. Even those large full page line negatives newspapers use are made of polyester. 73, Mike
