[Antennas] helix antenna elements

Does anyone know of a URL where I can find information on helix antenna 
elements
to be used for a beam on 40 meters.  Tried the idea of using "hamsicks" to 
build at
beam on 40 but not workable.  Want to try helix would elements for mini beam on
40 meters.  Please answer via the list so all can see your answers.
