[Antennas] Reducing Losses in my ZMATCH

Juan you may be confusing component Q and circuit Q.

Component Q rates the losses in the component. In my direct response I
tabulated the effect of component Q on output power.

The tuner has a LOADED Q that is based on the performance of the TUNER
when connected to the rig and actual load [antenna/feedline [VSWR]]. It
is the loaded Q that determines bandwidth [assuming loaded Q < unloaded
Q]. So, a higher Q inductor of the same inductive value [e.g. 20 uH in
either case] will have a very minor increase in output power AND the
Loaded Q would remain the same because it is basically determined by the
magnitudes of the system impedances i.e. Input impedance [50 ohm
resistive, transfer impedance {tuner determined}, load impedance
determined from antenna VSWR, characteristic impedance of feedline,
length of feedline}. As long as these parameters remain the same the
effective bandwidth of the tuner/antenna system will remain the same.
