[Antennas] 146 and 440 homebrew HT antenna

I am looking for plans, info, or just a schematic of an antenna for a 2 mtr 
and a 440 HT that was given to me. Both rigs seem to work great on my beams 
and what have you but they are not, for obvious reasons, going to do me any 
good on the HT's themselves.  I had thought that just a 1/4 wave whip for the 
440 would be ok but that is a bit long for the 2 mtr.  440 rig is a IC-04AT 
and the 2 mtr is a Kenwood TH 25G.  I know buying them would be a good idea 
but I am looking at going on the cheap so to speak.
