[Antennas] mfj801 as Field Strength Meter

Hi,

Recently I bought the MFJ801 FS Meter and I'm observing that it needs quite
a lot RF in order to move the needle. I mean, seems to me a little bit
"deaf"? In fact I was comparing it with a MICRONTA one and the MICRONTA is
able to detect much more than the MFJ.

I do not have the schematics even though it's quite easy to make them just
opening the case and drawing all the few components. However I'm not able
to know the accuracy of the meter (250uA??)

Anyone has got this FS Meter and could improve it's performance? Where can
I find schematics of other FS Meters in order to increase the sensivity of
the meter?

Thanks

Juan
