[Antennas] Ideas for best antenna for multiband HF in a small garden

Gary, if you can utilize the air space over your house and run an end 
fed 66 foot wire from the front of your house to the rear of your 
garden, you can get on 80 through 10 meters quite effectively.  The 
total length of the wire from the antenna tuner to its termination point 
must be a minimum of 66 feet. You will need a simple L-match antenna 
tuner and a good, short ground connection from the tuner to a ground 
rod, cold water piping, etc.  (BTW, if you have problems with RF in the 
shack, you may have to add some 1/4 wavelength counterpoises, which are 
not a big deal.  However, let's cross that bridge when we come to it.)

I believe that you'll be quite pleased with the results.
