[Antennas] SGC-237 needs a 9 ft whip

You guys/gals have come up with some great ideas.  Thank you very
much.  I went by Radio Shack a while ago and purchased a 102"
stainless steel whip ($15.00) but I didn't buy a spring because they
didn't have a 6" spring but they did have a 3" and a 4" but no 6".  I
already have a 4" spring so now all I have to do is raise the antenna
by 2" or put a 2" extension on the top but I am tired of worrying
about it now so I will spend the rest of the day replacing the Yaesu
FC-20 tuner with the SGC-237 in my truck.  Antenna time again
tomorrow.  Thanks everyone.
