Lyn, I am not mechanically talented, but I suspect that if you open it up
there isn't much that needs doing that you couldn't do yourself.  If you
read the manual it will tell you to disassemble the rotor inside a card
board box.  Make sure you do this.  I didn't and 10 years later I still find
an occasional ball bearing on the basement floor.

I have bought parts from C.A.T.S.,  http://www.rotordoc.com/ and been
pleased.  They also do repairs, but I've never used their service.
