Rudy might also try clear (actually slightly frosted) self-adhesive shelf
liner for a

low cost alternative to professional (?) lamination.

It is a good thing...HI!

However, Rudy (and others), the "freebie" maps from Kenwood and Yaesu are
not
laminated (as you requested). You could take that large-sized map to any
one of
several companies, however, and *have* it laminated. Be prepared to pay
some
buck$ for that service, however.

I have a beautiful map provided by Kenwood that I had framed (glass) and
is
hangining
on my hamshack wall. I prefer it to the Yaesu map, 'cause the Yaesu map
was
folded
and the Kenwood map was in a smooth roll which makes for better framing
(or
laminating).

 Rudy:

I would suggest trying Kenwood, Yaesu and/or ICOM. They usually have
such items as promotions. Better yet, go to Dayton this weekend and
you'll
probably be able to get them and a cap to boot!
