I came across this on the Internet: http://radioworks.com/clitop.html and
wonder if this might be a solution to my rf distortion problems on 15
meters using the gemquad antenna. I moved the coax last night and also
coiled up a section near the house, but I'm still getting signal reports of
distortion. A ham in Montana recorded my transmission and played them
back to me - distortion using the gemquad and perfect clear audio using the
40-meter delta loop tuned for 15 meters - both on the same 15 m ssb
frequency (think it was 21.317 or so). Thanks for all the suggestions so
far. Still troubleshooting - haven't found the problem yet but still
trying. Some tell me a line isolator is not a good solution.
