Good day: For what it's worth, I solved a *SEVERE* noise problem on a Ford for a friend. We finally found out the computer module, which is right behind the glove box on the firewall was the culprit. It seems they left it with a floating ground. We found a suitable ground point on the unit and took it to chassis ground. The noise disappeared. YMMV 73, Mike kf4fdj
