Don't forget to put a piece of screen or aluminum 'brillo pad' in the hole.

This will keep out mud wasps (1/4" is their ideal nest size), spiders, etc,
and still let the water drain out.

I've never seen this issue addressed by any of the antenna manufacturers.
Wonder why not ??
