You bet that "neighborly relationships" are important!  When I was living on
the
Left Coast (California), my next-door neighbor was a nice Mexican.  One day
when
when we were both outside mowing our (respective) lawns, he paused and said,
"I'm better than you are!"

I paused, shut off my lawn mower and asked, "How do you figure that, Jose?"

He said, "I don't have any Mexicans living next door to me!"

I had absolutely NO response to that!
