One of the products of not soldering is corrosion. In this case copper sulfate.
A well known and efficient rectifier. You'll be surprised what signals you will
hear after this forms. It is also quite an efficient generator of spurious
signals. ie; TVI. Never leave an antenna connection ( with the exception of  N
or BNC connectors ) not soldered. Keith,  VE3JKC.
