[Antennas] CUSHCRAFT MA5V " QUESTIONS

Looking for some advice from anyone using the  "cushcraft ma5v " vertical
antenna, due to install this antenna soon, and basicaly looking for some
advice / tips before doing so. any extra weatherproofing required on any off
the antenna parts  ?? any tuning tips ?? looking to use the antenna on the
ssb portions off the bands only.not sure as yet if to mount the antenna
above my 5 element 6 mtr beam which is mounted on a mast at around the 25
feet level or place the antenna on the gable end off the house ?? if above
the beam antenna , any minimum seperation distance required ?? and lastly !!
anyone any further info on the 6 mtr/50 mhz add on kit for this antenna ???
