Actually, they are die cast, not machined from a billet.

I've actually measured the performance of the Alpha-Delta up to 2 meters
on

a HP network analyzer.  Good performance,  but for HF, you can do very
nearly

as well with a homebrew switch using a decent, heavy rotary switch
mounted

in a well made mini-box.  I sold my A-D switches at Dayton.

If anyone is interested, I've a pair of 110v Dow-Key remote 6 position
for sale.  

Make me an offer I cannot refuse.
