The coverage in the lower interior of BC for cells and pagers is not very 
good.  Some of the companies have resorted to lower and more, for both 
coverage and maintainability.

Our club has a 2m repeater in the shack shared by other radio 
companies.  The repeater is in the repeater cupboard of a private radio 
phone company.  The owner repairs etc ours, but only when he can drive 
up.  He is going up shortly.  If his equipment goes on the fritz he hs to 
hire a helicoppter.
