[Antennas] gain and directivity

Hi Ed,

I would suppose that the reported gain of the j-pole was referenced to an 
isotropic radiator (dBi).  This possibly could be accomplished by the 
directivity in the elevation plane (remember the dough-nut pattern).  In 
other words, uniform gain in azimuth at a specific elevation.  Would be 
interested in some of your replies.
