ED,
A McCoy dipole... center fed.... Any length... 140' works nice cuz Radio Shack sells
#14 stranded in 70' rolls, hi, but shorter will do well, but do make the flat-top longer than your ladder line. Tunes all bands with a good tuner and 4:1 balun, or,.... no
balun is required if you use a link coupled tuner such as a Viking Matchbox.
Simple and works great. Very efficient and effective. Write me if you want more info on my experience with this simple design.
Good luck & 73, Les, WOJH
