In follow-up of my balun on the input/output of a
T-transmatch, I found an article which is very
understandable that discusses this exact subject:

http://fermi.la.asu.edu/w9cf/articles/balun/balun.html#f2

So, I'm gonna move the 1:1 balun back to the antenna
side of the Lexan-case transmatch and go lick my
wounds (RF burns?).

My new cover story is I did it to reduce internal
parasitic coupling so it gives me a cleaner match on
10m AND I will notice any arcing before it damages the
components. Plus, it's cool looking.
