I'm sorry, this particular balun is wound on two cores; I misstated
it. However, I have built several current baluns wound on a single
core. You wind one set of bifilar windings on 1/2 of the core, then you
wind a second set of bifilar windings on the other half of the core. There
is a write up with pics and schematics of single core baluns on Tom
Hammonds's web site by Tom and myself: http://home.earthlink.net/~n0ss
I have found that the single core current balun does not perform as well as
the two core current balun.
