You have a high voltage point at the tuner. Just extend your feedline to avoid a high voltage point. Try adding 10, 20, 40 or 60 feet, and you eventually will achieve a better match and the arcing will end. You get high voltage points at the half wavelength points. I'd expect you have about 100-120 feet of feedline attached? Trust me, I've been there. Paul, K5AF
