Carlos,
I live in the city and have no supports like you do. I have a delta loop for
20m. The apex starts at the 2nd story window frame of my town house (@ abt
20') ! It slopes down to the wooden fence at the back and is only 7' off the
ground at the bottom. That is to say that on one side it is COMPLETELY
covered by the house! I feed it with a simple 75 ohm 1/4 wave coaxial
matching section (before the 50 ohm feeder). This gives me a near perfect
match. I keep skeds with Asia (long path) daily and worked DXCC in about 2
months. The call obviously helps but if am not heard I won't be worked! I
ragchew with VK/ZL with 59's at times! Honest LP reports to Asia, running
75w, are about 57 at best with an average of about 55. Q 5 is a bonus with
this sstem! Nestled within the 20m loop is one for 12m fed the same way. I
regularl work Europe and JA on 12. If I had a decent tuner, I would feed it
with open wire and have 20m upwards on it! I work all around the world with
this antenna! May not be the best but a good start for you.
If you have 9m supports in the clear, you would do a whole lot better than I
do. I don't know how far apart these 9m supports are. You might even try
phased verticals - but they didn't work for me as well as my loop does.
You'll no doubt hear many more and better ideas but thought I'll share mine!

Ron, 6Y5/4S7RO

ok dear om:
i have two masts with 9m high each one and now i don't
have any antena for HF so if i can build one for 20m
it's a start and then i can build for the other bands
ok
i build a delta loop but do not work because i have
not a balun ok
then i build a dipole for 20m but do not work either
so any ideia is welcome because i pass the all day at
the sun and 40 degrees i am all red monting the
antenas and in the end they do not work so that the
info here in this land far away of everything in the
end of the world
tell me if in your city have a store with antenas for
radio amateurs?
