I use these, they are pretty good if you will beusing them indoors, attics,
or where there is little to no wind.  I installed three on the roof when I
moved to a high wind area, all three lost enough radials to not get one good
antenna out of the parts due to wind fatigue and damage.  For high wind
areas, I suggest the Diamond discone, HRO sells them for about eighty bucks.
I have used one in an area with dialy winds of 50+ MPH and gusts to 110 MPH
for several years with no adverse wind effects.
