Hello,
I just purchased a Cushcraft 2m beam at a swap meet. It has no
product ID on it so I am wondering if anybody would know the ID so I can
look up the technical info on the Cushcraft web site. Here is the
description:
-T-matched solid driven element with a 1/4 wavelength coax for phasing.
-6 directors.
-3 reflectors.
-One reflector is in plane the other two are above and below the plane of
the antenna, at a "similar" distance from the driven.
-SO-239 socket.
The main thing I need to know is whether this antenna is optimized for a
metallic or a non-conductive mast in the near field, and how the feed line
should approach the 239 connector.
Thanks for any help.
