I have posted a description of my 7 element electrically steerable

It has 8 to 9 dB gain over an individual vertical and can

be aimed in any of 12 directions.  A 40 meter version has

been put on the air, and an 80 meter version is currently

under construction.  It occupies a hexagon 3/4 wavelength

from vertex to vertex.
