What dimensions were you using?

I never bought from them my self. But I had made full sized 1/4 wave self
supporting 40 Meter Band verticals from the similar sized tubing's and never
have had a problem.  I started at 1.25" od .058 wall, then 1.125, 1.0 .875, .75
etc. till the last section was a 1/8" dia rod.  The Four antennas have been uop
and totally self supporting for over 20 years now, so what's with the temporary
I have no idea.
