I have a HF6V, which does fairly well. When I got it, I was just a Tech Plus, so I never tuned 20m on it, I only
concentrated on the Novice portions. My SWR on 20m is about 3:1. I get a good SWR on the other bands, but I don't do well on
40 or 80m, at least not real close to me (our Missouri ARES net).

From what I understand of the HF6V, I would NOT recommend this. It needs LOTS of counterpoises to be really effective,
which I didn't put in but I wish I did. However, we're moving in a year and I'll try to do it right next time. :-)
