[Antennas] Multiple dipole spacing

Are we talking about close spaced dipoles which are all connected
at the center feed point, or the kind that are merely parasitic and
not all connected at the center?  I use a long dipole with a ladder
line feed.  The auto-tuner is limited to 100 watts or so.  Someone
said the spacing of parasitic dipoles was about .01 wave length.  That's
around seven inches for 20 meters.  I'm going to try one of these
antennas, but I'll wait until this thread winds down...
