I run several sets of multiple J-Poles...that is...50, 146, 222, 440 ALL on
single
main copper radiator with one stub for each band. These were first
described
long ago in ARRL Antenna Handbook, and are also in the RSGB VHF/UHF
Handbook. Of course, spearate feed lines are used on each antenna.

For a while our local county sheriff's dept had a cross-band Lo-Hi radio
system
and they used two Js on the same radiator with no difficulties at all.

You do NOT have to mount the stubs opposite each other, that is, one up and
one down. All four stubs for all four (or less as preferred) bands can
mount
upward.
