Don, I agree.
When the antenna was assembled the full frequency range was swept with
the MFJ 259 [I believe, it was borrowed] at the antenna connector. The
readings I presented are totally typical. The antenna did NOT exceed
1.8:1 VSWR ANYPLACE in the bandpass, except at boom resonance which is
hairpin tuned.
